ZERO is a Portuguese environmental non-governmental organisation that seeks to influence public policies, in order to make them more sustainable. It develops projects, also in the area of sustainability, as is the case of the LIFE AskREACH project where this campaign is part of.

There are more than 22,000 chemical substances that put our health and the environment at risk. In this sense, we want to alert ordinary consumers who have the right to obtain information about whether the items they buy, or intend to buy, contain any of these substances.

How? Through a campaign where all the products contain a packaging/tag/etc... just like a pack of tobacco.
In this context, emerges the Ignorance Kills campaign, where we can observe our everyday objects packed as if they were cigarettes.

However, instead of "Smoking Kills" and the messages related to that same topic, we can observe normal objects, from our day-to-day, pictured as simple as possible, in a white background. Despite being presented as something contradictory, since many of them can prove to be deadly.

Demonstrating, then, how something, even seen on our everyday life, can look simple and elegant, however, just informing us we can obtain the truth, in totality, about the products we buy.
Message:

There are more than 22,000 chemicals that endanger our health and the environment. This (picture 1,2,3) may contain one of them.
